Coteaux Champenois Blanc 2019 "Mcn"- Tarlant
Coteaux Champenois Blanc 2019 "Mcn"- Tarlant
MCN Coteaux Champenois Blanc is a white wine produced in the Champagne region by Maison Tarlant.
It is part of a range of four labels called MCN, where the letters represent the lieux-dits from which the grapes come M - Petit Meslier. C - Chardonnay. N - Pinot Noir , while on the label, the letter among the three written in larger characters represents the grape variety from which it is made (in this case MCN means obtained from Pinot Noir, while the other two in the range are MCN Chardonnay and MCN Pinot Meunier).
Made from 100% Petit Meslier, this wine ferments spontaneously in oak barrels, where it is aged for 10 months. The MCN Coteaux Champenois Blanc has a luminous straw yellow-green colour and a rich and expressive nose with notes of green apple, citrus, minerals and a hint of oak. The sip is crispy, energetic and full-bodied, balanced by a lovely freshness and acidity.
